Although we offer a wide variety of general and cosmetic dental services, we believe there is more to the dental experience than just the procedure itself. So, what other aspects really set Pearl District Dental apart from other General and Cosmetic Dentists?
We Value Your Time
Spend less time waiting. Unlike many general and cosmetic dental offices, we choose not to double or even triple-book appointments. This approach assures that you’ll not only be seen within five minutes of your appointed time, but you’ll also receive our undivided attention during each and every visit.
We have very high standards because we are genuinely passionate about servicing your oral health and dental needs. We work with only the very best dental laboratories and suppliers. Our infection control procedures are second to none. We take extra time with each and every procedure to make sure it is done right, but more importantly, to make sure you are are comfortable and have time to ask questions.
We constantly strive to offer the best dental service in the Portland area. Dr. Mika strongly believes in continuing to expand her professional education to bring the latest and best dental techniques to her patients and routinely completes more than 10 times the required credit hours each year from the world’s top post-doctorate dental schools.
Dr. Mika was also selected as one of America’s Top Dentists by the Consumer’s Research Council of America for 2010, 2011, 2012 and again in 2013.
For your convenience, our office fluently speaks Japanese, Arabic, Persian and Farsi.

Invisalign was created to straighten your teeth without wearing braces so your treatment looks virtually invisible. Invisalign uses a series of removable custom-made, nearly undetectable aligners. Because you remove your aligners before you eat and drink, there are no food restrictions or problems with flossing or brushing. This technology is also more comfortable, avoiding the mouth abrasions that can be caused by the metal and wires of conventional braces. It works for a wide range of people whose teeth are too crowded or have spaces between them, as well as for those whose teeth may have shifted after having worn braces in their youth.
Treatment duration depends on case severity which ultimately determines the number of Aligners you need. However, the average length of treatment is about 12 months.
Typically, an insurance policy that covers traditional braces also covers Invisalign to the same extent. Invisalign can also be included in your Corporate Flexible spending account.
Invisalign has been proven effective in both clinical research and in dental practices nationwide.
