Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without wearing braces. Invisalign uses a series of removable custom-made, nearly undetectable aligners. Because you remove your aligners before you eat and drink, there are no food restrictions or problems with flossing or brushing. This technology is also more comfortable, avoiding the mouth abrasions that can be caused by the metal and wires of conventional braces. It works for a wide range of people whose teeth are too crowded or have spaces between them, as well as for those whose teeth may have shifted after having worn braces in their youth.

The length of treatment is about the same as with braces.

• The duration of treatment depends on the severity of your case, which determines the number of Aligners you need. However, the average is about 12 months.
• Typically, an insurance policy that covers traditional braces also covers Invisalign to the same extent. Invisalign can also be included in your Corporate Flexible spending account.
